Meet Samantha's Family
Samantha is blessed with a loving and close family: mom Priscilla, dad Jerry, 17 year old brother Justin, and sisters Tiffany, age 11 and Cheyenne, age 7. Their lives before the accident was that of a typical working class American family: Jerry worked as a brick mason & Priscilla a full-time homemaker and mom. A busy life with four active children. A blessed life. They are still a close and loving family and have rallied around Samantha. The life of the Allen family centers around meeting the needs of a loved one with the most devastating type of physical injury and a daily routine that is difficult beyond our understanding. Whenever a family member is facing a medical crisis of this magnitude-the same type of spinal cord injury suffered by Christopher Reeve-the whole family is impacted. 
A home that is specially adapted to meet Samantha's significant daily living challenges and needs, would help the entire family to lead a more normal life. The kind of life we all take for granted. You can help improve the quality of life for Samantha and her family.
